Bing Teases Bing Chat Webmaster Tools Reporting - It's Almost Ready

Fabrice Canel from Microsoft Bing posted a tease on Twitter of the heavily anticipated upgrade to Bing Webmaster Tools. We are expecting Bing Chat reporting, so we can see impressions and clicks directly from Bing Chat to our sites, like Bing shows us from Bing Search.

The Google Search Console Performance report is now delayed over 60 hours. For me, it is about 63 hours delayed. The good news, Google is aware of the issue and I am sure it will catch up soon.

Google posted a new blog post about an old ranking system it has not talked about before named "topic authority." Initially, everyone thought Google was announcing a new search ranking algorithm update, but no, Google's Danny Sullivan clarified on Twitter, saying, "this isn't a new system that's just launched."

Bing Chat Doubles Character Chat Limit

Microsoft has doubled the character limit of Bing Chat from 2,000 characters to now 4,000 characters. This is still rolling out for some users, but I personally see it in creative and precise mode, not in the standard balanced mode.
