Google Domains Have Automatic Verification For Property Sets

Google launched property sets this week in Google Search Console and one of the complaints is that you must use the DNS verification methods to get it to work. It can be complex but if you ask your "web guy" they should be able to do it easily. But if you have your domain registered at Google Domains, it seems to be automated.

Google Ad Grants Terms & Conditions Broken

If you want to sign up and use the Google Ad Grants, you might run into a stumbling block. Accepting the terms and conditions has not worked for a couple of weeks. Google has been trying to fix the issue but they are having a problem finding the source of the problem.

Google Moving & Closing Support Forums

We saw it happen with a number of support forums already, including the Google News forums. But now it looks like all Google support forums are moving to the new platform. The interesting part is they are not migrating content from the old to the new platform, instead, they are making the old platform read only and opening up the new platform for new topics.

New Basic Google Video On How Google Search Indexes JavaScript Sites

As part of the JavaScript SEO series Google is publishing, the first video is super basic and describes how Google indexes JavaScript sites. In short, they first crawl and index the page as is and then later will render the page and index the rendered page. How long it takes to render the page is not clear, how long it takes for Google to index your JavaScript page is not clear.
