Yesterday I trawled comments on a well-read blog. Most contributors kept things positive. A few railed about the blog post. Some felt aspects of the post were unfair to other bloggers. Lots of complaining. Blaming. Finger pointing. I barely read 2 sentences before I closed out the post to move on. The post author and majority of commentors were moving higher in blogging circles. But the few dissentors were spiraling down, slamming into that resistance one faces when you spent time complaining with complainers. There is no way you can move up in blogging circles and impress the big dawgs
